PULLMAN, Wash. - Deka DeWitt (Auburn, Wash.), Washington State's leading scorer during the 1999 season, was selected to the Pac-10 All-Conference Second Team.
DeWitt led the Cougars (7-12-0) in both goals and assists, while tying the school's junior season scoring mark with 28 points. The 28 points are the fourth highest single-season total in WSU history.
DeWitt's 10 goals place her in a seventh place tie all time at WSU. Her 12 goals last season place her fifth. She is the second most prolific goal scorer in school history with 28.
DeWitt set the single season assist record with her eighth assist of the season against California. Her 13 career assists leave her one assist shy of tying the school record.
As a sophomore, DeWitt scored 12 goals and had two assists on her way to a first team all-conference nod.
