WASHINGTON STATE POSTGAME NOTES

  • Washington State swept Arizona for the first time since 1982-83...none of the current WSU student-athletes were born at the time.

  • Cougars post first win in school history as a ranked team playing a ranked opponent.

  • Washington State led 36-33 at halftime...sixth straight game Cougars have held the advantage at intermission.

  • Cougars began the game 3-for-9 (33.3 percent) from the field...made 10-of-16 (62.5 percent) to end the stanza...WSU opened the second half 5-for-6 (83.3 percent) from the floor...WSU shot 50.9 percent for the game and improved to 11-0 this season when shooting 45 percent or better.

  • Senior Ivory Clark scored 18 points, the most in his career during a Pacific-10 game.

  • Junior Kyle Weaver tallied six assists to raise his career total to 266 and pass Brad Jackson (1972-74) for 10th on the WSU all-time list.

  • Junior Robbie Cowgill registered his 80th career block to tie Joe Wallace (1984-87) for eighth on the WSU all-time list.
