What's Happening This Week: The Washington State University women's rowing squad continues the spring season against the Oregon State Beavers at the Dexter Reservoir, Saturday, March 29 at 9 a.m. The varsity eight, second varsity eight, varsity four (A), varsity four (B), novice eight, second novice eight, novice four (A) and second novice four (B) boats will all see action at the regatta.

LaRiviere Returns to Oregon State: This is the first time new Cougar Head Coach Jane LaRiviere will compete against her former team. LaRiviere spent the last eight years at OSU, where she served as the recruiting coordinator as well as the women's freshman and novice coach. Last year, LaRiviere guided the Beavers' novice eight team to the 2002 Pac-10 Championship and the varsity four to a second place finish at the championships.
What Happened Last Week: The Cougars kicked off the spring season with a splash winning five out of the six match-ups against Gonzaga. The varsity eight beat Gonzaga by nearly 15 seconds in the 2000m course, and the second varsity eight team beat the Bulldogs by just over 15 seconds. The varsity four "B" squad and novice eight and second novice eight teams were also victorious.
WSU Head Coach Jane LaRiviere on facing Oregon State: "I'm really looking forward to going back to my old stomping grounds. I'm also excited for our first Pac-10 Conference competition and hope we have some competitive races."

Take I-5 South past Eugene.
Take Exit 188. (Hwy 58)
Go to milepost 13. (White covered bridge)
Go into town and take a left at the second intersection.
Lowell Park is on the left about Ľ a mile down. Turn left in park entrance.
First gravel road on right leads to boathouse.
