Woods Records 19th Career Top 25 Finish In Wolf Pack Classic

RENO, Nev. - Washington State senior Isaac Woods finished tied for 16th in the Ernest F. Lied Wolf Pack Classic at the Wolf Run Golf Course, a par-72, 7,100 yard course Tuesday.

Woods, who tied his career low in the second round by firing a 4-under 68, came back to shoot a 74 (+2) in the final round to finish at 2-under par (214) for the tournament. He is currently in fourth place all-time for WSU golfers with 19 career top 25 finishes.

Senior Ryan Camp finished out his tournament by shooting a 3-over 75 in the third round to finish tied for 40th place.

The Cougars finished in 12th place overall after shooting a 296 (+8) in the third round. The team finished just two shots out of the top 10 with a total of 878 (+14).

Freshman Kevin Chen led the trio of freshmen by tying for 55th. Redshirt freshman Jordan Madison posted a 76th place tie and freshman Matt Fladwood fired a team low for the third round with a 72 (E).

The Cougars will have a 12 day layoff until their next tournament where they will travel to San Diego, Calif. for the Barona Collegiate Cup Oct. 20-21.
