Washington State Notes:

  • Brock Motum led WSU in scoring with 15 points...he's led WSU in scoring in both games this season...he was 6-for-11 from the field and 3-for-3 from the free throw line.
  • DaVonté Lacy dished out a career-high 6 assists...he added 11 points.
  • Mike Ladd also scored in double figures with 13 points and 2 assists...Motum, Lacy and Ladd have scored in double-figures in both games this season.
  • Dexter Kernich-Drew reached double-figures for just the second time in his career, finishing with a career-high 14 points...his previous career-high of 10 came against Eastern Washington last season.
  • D.J. Shelton finished with a team-high 6 rebounds and has led WSU on the boards in both games this season.
  • Forty of WSU's 70 points came in the paint...the Cougars shot .656 from 2-point range and a total of .518 from the field.
  • WSU turned the ball over just 5 times, its fewest since committing just 4 turnovers against Stanford Feb. 2, 2008.
  • Twelve different Cougars saw action, including walk-on guard Dominic Ballard who more than quadrupled his total WSU minutes played with 13 against the Wolverines.
  • The Cougars scored 17 points off of UVU's 13 turnovers.
