PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State University Women's Basketball Head Coach Sherri Murrell will conduct a pair of coaching clinics on the east side of the state in October.
The first clinic is Tuesday, Oct.12 at Richland High School (900 Long Ave.) in Richland, Wash. The second clinic is Thursday, Oct. 21 at University High School (12420 E. 32nd) in Spokane, Wash.
High school, youth, AAU coaches and students are welcome to attend. Registration for both clinics is at 6 p.m. with the clinics taking place from 7-9 p.m. A questions and answer session will follow from 9-10 p.m.
Among the topics slated to be covered are practice drills, pack defense, transition offense, and quick hitters/out of bounds plays.
In addition, a free youth skills clinic for girls in the fourth through eighth grades will take place from 6-7 p.m. at each clinic.
Cost for coaches to attend is $5 while admission is free for students. Clock hours will be offered for coaches. Those interested may pre-register by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
