Colorado Springs, Colo. - The Washington State men's golf team completed the first round of the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational today at the 7,301-yard, par-72 Eisenhower Golf Club in Colorado Springs, Colo. After 36 holes the Cougars are in third place going into the final round on Sunday four strokes out of first place.

Austin Hurt led the way for WSU finishing in a tie for 10th. The senior went under par in both rounds and carding a first-day total 141 (-3). A top-25 finish would be the second of the season.
