PULLMAN, Wash. - The Washington State women's basketball team takes on Lewis-Clark State College in an exhibition game, Friday, Nov. 3 at Bohler Gym. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. and admission is free.

WSU Head Coach Sherri Murrell begins her fifth season at the helm of the WSU program. Murrell will lead a squad that features eight letterwinners, including seniors Kate Benz and Adriane Ferguson, and six newcomers.

Friday's game will mark the second consecutive year the two teams played an exhibition game at Bohler Gym. Last year, WSU outscored Lewis-Clark 37-25 in the second half en route to a 65-57 win.

The Cougars open the 2006-07 season next week at the Women's Sports Foundation Classic in Lexington, Kentucky. WSU begins the tournament against host Kentucky, Friday, Nov. 10 at 5 p.m. Pacific. WSU concludes the tournament against Indiana or Wake Forest, Sunday, Nov. 12 at 8 a.m. Pacific.
