SPOKANE, Wash. - Washington State women's rowing team swept all races against UC-Davis Saturday at Silver Lake near Spokane.

In the varsity eight race, the No. 14 ranked WSU squad crossed the line at 6:48.2 to Davis's 7:05.9 and the second varsity eight followed suit with a time of 7:07.1 to the Aggies 7:21.9.

"The weather was sunny and choppy and we raced well," said Head Coach Tammy Crawford. "I would like to give appreciation to Gonzaga for hosting this event even though they were not competing in it."

The Cougar novice eight squad remains undefeated on the season, cutting through the water at 7:02.3 to the Aggies 7:11.9. On the season, the novice squad has won six consecutive races against other novice eights.
