WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- Washington State sophomore guard Marcus Moore has been named the Pacific-10 Conference Player of the Week for Dec. 3-9, Pac-10 Commissioner Tom Hansen announced Monday.

Moore, from Inglewood, Calif., averaged 22.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 3.5 steals in two victories last week. During that period, he shot 16-of-24 (.667) from the field, 5-for-9 (.556) from three-point range and 7-for-10 (.700) from the free throw line.

In a win over Idaho, Moore posted a career-high 31 points while adding eight rebounds, five assists and five steals (all game highs). Against Texas-Pan American, he scored 13 points and added a game-high eight assists to go along with four rebounds and two steals.

Moore currently ranks in several Pac-10 statistical categories, including assists (first, 7.00 per game), steals (first, 3.83 per game), scoring (fifth, 16.3 points per game) and rebounds (T-16th, 5.7 per game).

It is the first weekly award for Moore, the 14th all-time honor for the Cougars.
