Pullman, Wash.--- Washington State redshirt sophomore Roger Flynn led a list of six Cougar golfers named to the Pac-10 All-Academic Team. Two players from the men's team and four from the women's were honored.

Flynn's 4.0 grade point average in Mechanical Engineering earned him a spot on the Academic All-American team in May. The Boise native had the highest GPA of any player selected for the Pac-10 All-Academic men's team. Flynn was joined by teammate Jon Reehoorn, who was selected Second Team Pac-10 All-Academic for his 3.18 GPA in Communications.

Departed senior Jenny Ballou, junior Jennifer Dodd, and sophomores Tasha Browner and Becky Greggain all received Honorable Mention. Ballou was named to the Academic All-American team in 1999.

Stanford matched WSU with six selections to the men's and women's teams to lead the Pac-10. The sextuplet is the largest group of Cougar golfers named to the conference's academic team since it began in 1992.
