Katie Dick Selected to Capital One All-Academic Team

PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State University junior rower Katie Dick has been named to the Capital One All-District VIII Academic At-Large Second Team as voted on by members of College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

A native of Victoria, British Columbia, Dick has a 3.96 grade point average and is majoring in philosophy. She is in her third season with the Cougar rowing program.

Last season, as a member of the varsity eight crew, Dick was named all-Pacific-10 Conference and to the CRCA All-America Second Team and All-West Region First Team. She was also named to the Pac-10 Rowing All-Academic First Team.

The women's at-large category includes student-athletes participating in bowling, fencing, field hockey, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, rowing, skiing, swimming, tennis and water polo.

The Cougars finished fifth at the Pac-10 Championships at Lake Natoma May 15 and will return to the site for the NCAA Championships May 27-29.
