THIS WEEK
Washington State (6-2-1) spends another weekend on the road, where it will face the two newest conference opponents...first up for the Cougars is Utah, Friday at Ute Field in Salt Lake City...kickoff is scheduled for noon Pacific, and will be televised live on the Pac-12 Networks...Washington State will then make its fourth appearance on the Pac-12 Networks when it takes on Colorado, Sunday at Prentup Field in Boulder, Colo...match will be held at 1:30 p.m. Pacific...live stats for Friday's game will be run by Utah but can be accessed at wsucougars.com...follow Sunday's action at cubuffs.com.

LAST WEEK
In its 2012 Pac-12 debut, Washington State battled No. 2 UCLA to a 0-0 draw in Los Angeles...WSU goalkeeper Gurveen Clair made seven saves, including a pair in the second overtime...Cougars fell to No. 23 Santa Clara 3-0 in Santa Clara, Calif...all three Bronco goals came in the second period...WSU outshot the Broncos (10-8) and tied them in corners (4-4).

WASHINGTON STATE HEAD COACH Keidane McAlpine
Cougar Head Coach Keidane McAlpine is in his first year as head coach at Washington State, and his sixth year overall as a head coach...McAlpine is 6-2-1 in Pullman and 46-50-12 overall.

COUGARS RECEIVING VOTES
Washington State is receiving votes for the fifth-straight week in the Soccer Times Top 25 poll...Cougars are No. 6 in the NSCAA Pacific Region poll...are No. 33 in the current NCAA RPI.

ABOUT UTAH
The Utes are 5-2-2 on the season and 0-1-0 in Pac-12 play...are ranked No. 8 in the NSCAA Pacific Region Poll for the third-consecutive week...this season, Utah is unbeaten and has yet to be scored upon at home...through three matches at Ute Field, the Utes have outscored their opponents 6-0.

SERIES WITH THE UTES
Utah leads 4-3-1, including a record of 2-1-0 in Salt Lake City...Cougars are unbeaten in the schools' last three encounters...last year, WSU shut out the Utes 2-0 in Pullman.

ABOUT COLORADO
The Buffaloes are 6-1-3 to date this season, including a Pac-12 record of 0-0-1...Colorado is No. 32 in the current NCAA RPI...has outscored and outshot its opponents 16-8 and 131-151, respectively...junior forward Anne Stuller leads the Buffaloes with seven goals.

Junior Micaela Castain and senior Brandi Vega are among the statistical leaders in the Pac-12 Conference...Castain leads the Pac-12 in goals (8), goals per game (0.89), points per games per game (1.78) and game-winning goals (4)...her 16 points are tied for the conference lead...Vega is tied for ninth in goals (4) and goals per game (0.44) and tied for 10th with 10 points...Castain is tied for seventh nationally in game winning goals, tied for 13th in goals per game and tied for 20th in goals.

CLAIR RECEIVES HONOR
Cougar goalkeeper Gurveen Clair was included in the "Best of the Inland Northwest XI" team of the week by Inland Northwest Soccer News thanks to her seven saves in last week's match against UCLA.
