THIS WEEK: The Cougars travel to Seattle to compete in the 13th Annual Sundodger Invitational hosted by the University of Washington.

THE SUNDODGER: The Sundodger is typically a regional meet drawing teams from Washington, Idaho, and Oregon...the event takes place on the grass playing fields of Lincoln Park in Seattle...information can be found at the Washington website, www.gohuskies.com.

WSU WOMEN: A team composed of senior Julia Corbett, sophomores Grace Coulter, Karen DeMartini, Katie Troy, and freshmen Michelle DeCourcey, Jennifer Kronvall, Meghan Leonard and Eileen Morley will compete for WSU...freshman Lisa Waananen and Tara Ward may also compete...after two weeks of training runs, the Cougs will use the race to gain experience in a large race format...seniors Ana Cabrera and Molly Bull, along with sophomores Natalie Smith, Kelly Ramirez, freshman Collier Lawrence, Isley Gonzalez and Haley Paul will not race but continue their training in preparation for next week's Roy Griak Invitational.

WSU MEN: The Washington State men will be represented by senior Jon Manthey and possibly freshman Justin Chambers...a second contingent of Washington State runners including senior Justin Ireland, freshmen Woody Favinger, C.J. Godfrey, Phil Hinrichs, Drew Polley, Gary Walsh, and sophomore Chris Williams will compete unattached...the bulk of the men's squad, including seniors Danny Wolf and Mike Heidt, will remain in Pullman and continue conditioning to gear up for the race in Minnesota

NEXT COMPETITION: WSU heads to Minneapolis, Minn., to compete in the nationally prestigious Roy Griak Invitational September 25.
