Washington State Notes:

  • Marcus Capers set both a season high and personal conference-game high with 14 points...his career high is 16 done against Oregon in the Pac-10 Tournament, March 10, 2010.
  • Abe Lodwick did not make a 3-pointer but finished with eight points...he had made at least two 3-pointers in each of the previous six games and has now made at least two in eight of the last 10 games.
  • Lodwick shot six free throws on the night...he had shot just three all season...he made his first four and had made his first seven free throws of the season before missing.
  • Lodwick tied his career high with nine marked a season high and a personal conference-game high as well.
  • Lodwick also tied his career high with 33 minutes played.
  • Brock Motum led WSU with 17 points...he has scored in double figures in 25 of WSU's 27 games this season.
  • WSU out-rebounded Washington 42-35, 14 of them coming on the offensive end...the 42 rebounds marks a season third-best for the Cougars and a season Pac-12 best.
  • Washington won shooting .358 (19-for-53) from the field marking the first time an opponent shot less than .400 from the field and won this season...the last time was also Washington, shooting.396 (21-for-53) at Washington Feb. 27, 2011.
  • The Cougars shot .917 (11-for-12) from the free throw line in the first half and just .300 (6-for-20) in the second half...the second half is a season low for free throw percentage.
  • Prior to the game WSU's Faisal Aden, Marcus Capers, Charlie Enquist and Abe Lodwick were honored, as well as three managers, for `Senior Night'.
