Ryan Camp Sits in Top 25 After First Two Rounds of U.S. Intercollegiate

STANFORD, Calif. - Washington State's captain, Ryan Camp, is again leading the Cougars after the first two rounds of the U.S. Intercollegiate being played at the Stanford Golf Course, a par 71, 6,786 yard course Saturday.

Camp fired an opening round 70 (-1) and finished just three over par for the day with a 145 and tied for 21st. Camp is looking to earn his 20th career top 25 finish, his fourth of the spring, and sixth of the year. He currently sits only one shot back from a top 20 finish.

Jordan Madison is also in the hunt for his eighth top 25 finish of the season. Madison is currently tied for 29th and is only one stroke behind Camp. Madison opened with a 1-over 72 in the first round and followed it with a 3-over 74 in the second for a total of 146 (+4).

The Cougars fired a solid 292 (+8) in the first round and finished with a total of 598 (+30) for the first 36-holes. They currently sit in 13th place and are just five shots out of the top 10.

Chad Carlson shot 3-over 74 in the first round and is currently tied for 69th. Kevin Chen is tied for 79th and Matt Fladwood is tied for 95th.

The final 18 holes will be played Sunday with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
