LAKE NATOMA, Calif. - The Washington State University women's rowing team did not fare as well as expected at the Pacific-10 Conference Championships Sunday, May 16, on Lake Natoma near Sacramento, Calif.

The Washington Huskies repeated as the women's team champions and won all four women's races.

Washington State's novice eight and junior varsity eight both took third place in their respective races while the Cougar women's varsity four placed fifth and the varsity eight, ranked 12th nationally coming into the conference championships, finished sixth.

The team finish at the Pac-10s ends the Cougars' hopes of an NCAA Championship at-large bid and concludes the 1999 season.
