WSU-Stanford Game An Instant Classic

PULLMAN, Wash. - The Washington State-Stanford men's basketball game played March 4 at Beasley Coliseum has been selected by ESPN Classic as an Instant Classic.

ESPN Classic will telecast the game, won by Stanford 63-61, at 6 p.m. Eastern/3 p.m. Pacific, Wednesday March 10.

The Cougars trailed by as many as nine points in the first half and led by six points with 52 seconds left in the game. The then top-ranked Cardinal rallied to win on Matt Lottich's fall away three-pointer as time expired. Lottich scored a game-high 15 points. Marcus Moore and Jeff Varem led WSU with 14 points each.
