The Washington State University women's rowing team will participate for the third consecutive year in an indoor race against the Gonzaga University women's rowers using ergometers (stationary rowing machines)...23 varsity rowers and 19 novice rowers will compete for the Cougars.

SCHEDULE FOR SATURDAY: Competition begins at 10 a.m. in the Martin Center on the Gonzaga campus...the "races" will be held every ten minutes with finals beginning at noon and proceeding every 12 minutes..

WSU WOMEN'S ROWING COACHES: Varsity coach Tammy Crawford returns for her ninth season as the head coach of the Washington State women's rowing team and 13th season of collegiate coaching. Jodi Winchell, novice coach, begins her seventh year as a coach with the Cougar rowers. Michelle Kistler, assistant coach, is in her first year as a coach after a successful collegiate career with the Cougars. Ann Hoang, a four-year letterwinner at WSU, is an undergraduate assistant coach.
