Shawn Stevenson went 2-for-6 in the lead-off position, including his third career home run. Also in his first game as a Cougar, Boyd Robertson was 3-for-5, with pushing two runs across the plate. Stevenson and Robertson shored up the middle infield with no errors in seven attempts. Casey Kelley also added his first home run of the year, an opposite field shot, to go along with two singles.
