Graduated from Bethel High 2002...participated in baseball and football...football coach Eric Kurie...first football competition since the ninth grade came during SENIOR year when he rushed for 2,265 yards and a state record 45 all-purpose touchdowns...just the 27th player in State history to go over 2,000 yards rushing...team was 12-1 overall and won the South Puget Sound League South race with a perfect 8-0 record...lost to Kentwood in the State playoffs...in the State quarterfinals against South Kitsap rushed for 217 yards and three touchdowns and passes for one TD...selected to the Associated Press All-State 4-a first team...named the #17 prospect in the Northwest by Super Prep Magazine... Tacoma News Tribune All-State first team pick and all-area team...also area player of the year by TNT...Seattle Times All-State first team pick...Seattle Times Red Chip prospect...Washington Prep Football Report All-State choice and 4-A Player of the Year...all-league first team running back and league's back of the year...a Northwest Nugget honorable mention pick by the TNT.

RS-FRESHMAN (2003-04): V-letter...Games - 13...Starts - 1...best game four tackles at Oregon...three tackles at Washington and against Arizona...started against ASU when both Al Genatone and Scott Davis were injured...earned the following weekly team awards: Big Hit - Idaho, Assassin - Oregon, Iron Man - USC.
RS-SOPHOMORE (2004-05): V-letter...Games - 11...Starts - 4...earned the following weekly team awards: Iron Man - USC. Special Teams: Punts, Kickoffs, KO Returns...came out of fall camp the starter on the outside...started first four games...had five tackles in the first game at New Mexico, three against Colorado and two against Idaho...scooped up a fumble and nearly broke for a touchdown against Oregon (eight-yard return)...had four stops against Oregon, ASU and Washington.
RS-JUNIOR (2005-06): Games - 11...Starts - 11...earned the following weekly team awards: Pac-10 Defensive POW nominee - Oregon State; Cougar Claw Defense - ASU. Special Teams: Punt, KO Return...third among Cougar defenders with 68 tackles...picked off his first career interception against Oregon and returned one fumble 15 yards at Oregon State...had double-digit tackles three times, a career high 13 tackles at Oregon State and 11 tackles against Stanford the next week...later in the season had 10 tackles against ASU.
