FRESHMAN (2011-12): Cross Country - Ran first three races of season...first Cougar to cross finish line at Erik Anderson Invite running 8k in a time of 25:16...at Notre Dame Invite finishes 196th (27:09)...injured and did not compete the rest of season...Indoor - Redshirt season...competed unattached at Vandal Collegiate running 3k in 8:39.59i (2/18/12, Moscow)...Outdoor- Redshirt season.
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned six varsity letters at Petaluma High School...three in cross country and three in track and field, all under coach Jim Lynch...served as team captain on the track and field team during his senior year...was team captain for the cross country team as a senior...cross country team placed third in D3 California as a sophomore, and placed fifth in both years following...took fourth at the California North Coast Section Meet of Champions in the 3200m...as a junior, was the champion of the Foot Locker west regional junior race...placed tenth as an individual in the California State Cross Country Championships as a senior...also took first at the Stanford Invite in his senior year.

Born in December 1992 in Santa Rosa, Calif...mother Denise is a drug counselor at DAAC...triplet brothers Henry and Jesse...older brother Johnny...older sister Camille...served on honor roll all four years at Petaluma High School...was a member of the high school band and was the drum line captain...enjoys art and playing the drums...plans to pursue biology with pre-med while at WSU.
