John Graves is in his second season at Washington State as an assistant football strength and conditioning coach.
Spent the last two seasons at his alma mater Virginia Tech as a football strength and conditioning assistant coach. Graves was a four-year letterwinner for the Hokies at defensive tackle, earning Second Team All-ACC honors as a senior in 2010. During his time at Virginia Tech, he was part of three ACC Championship teams, earned Academic All-American honors twice, was a three-time weight room All-American by NSCA and was voted a team captain as a senior in 2010.
Graves was a member of the Houston Texans in 2010 and the Seattle Seahawks in 2010-11.
Graves earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology from Virginia Tech in 2010. The Richmond, Va. native is certified by CSCS, USAW Level I and level 1 by functional movement screening.
