Eight Cougars earn accolades.
Washington State swimming completed the 2012-13 season Saturday with a ninth place finish at Pac-12 Championships, earning a total of 189 points.
The fourth and final day of Pac-12 Championships continues Saturday with preliminary heats at 11 a.m. and final heats at 6 p.m.

The Cougars will face the eight other Pac-12 schools that have a women's swimming team.
Swimming's Kelly Tannhauser led the Cougars to a victory over Seattle U. while cross country's Drew Jordan was the top collegiate finisher at the Inland Empire Classic and were selected as Student-Athletes of the Week.
Sophomore (2011-12): Won "B" final of 200 IM and 200 back at Hawkeye Invitational...finished second in 400 IM against Seattle U...eighth on Cougar All-Time List in the 200 IM with a time of 2:04.49...sixth on the Cougar all-time list in the 400 IM with a time of 4:27.10...member of 800 free relay that finished eighth overall at Pac-12 Championships.
SOUTH CAROLINA CAREER
Swam personal bests in the 200 free, 200 back and 200 IM at the 2011 Southeastern Conference Championships as a freshman...she ranks in the all-time top 10 at South Carolina in the 200 back and 200 IM.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB CAREER
Earned four varsity letters for swimming at Juanita High School under head coach Dawn Maurer...voted MVP all four years...her freshman year she placed second at 4A state meet in the 200 free and the 200 free relay...her sophomore year she was the 4A State Champion in the 200 free (151.95)...her junior year she was the 3A State Champion in the 200 free...her senior year she was the 3A State Champion in the 500 free...she was State Champion and set a state record in the 200 free relay (1:37.77) her senior year.
Born in Seattle, Wash...will turn 21 this year...father Wayne is a middle school teacher... mother Shirley is a home keeper...older brother Brett swam for Tennessee and was the SEC champion in the 500 free...older brother Kerry swam for Arizona State...older sister Jamie swam for Florida and was the eight place finisher at the 2000 Olympic trials in the 800 free...she enjoys photography...will possibly major in Education.
