  • Sophomore (1998-99): V-letter...started all 11 games at free safety and also saw limited duty as a wide receiver...started off the season just as he finished up his rookie season, making four interceptions in WSU's first four games...made his first interception of the season at Boise State, then grabbed two picks against Idaho and one at California, his final pick of the season...had nine tackles in back-to-back games against Idaho and California and later in the season had consecutive games of eight tackles each against USC and UCLA...saw first action as a Cougar at wide receiver in the game against the Bears, although did not have a reception...a week later against UCLA in the Rose Bowl caught two passes for 34 yards...began returning punts against Idaho, finishing he year with 16 returns for 123 home against USC had five punt returns for 44 yards...slowed early in October by a quad bruise...nationally ranked tied for 37th and in the Pac-10 tied for sixth, averaging .36 interceptions per game...earned the following game awards: Cougar Claw - BSU; Pac-10 Defense - Idaho; Most Disciplined Defense - Idaho, California; Cougar Tackler - Stanford.
  • Junior (1999-00): V-letter...played in 11 of WSU's 12 games, with seven starts...equaled the WSU career interception record of 14 when he picked off a pass at Hawaii in the season finale and returned it 28 yards (longest return of his career)...forced to move to corner at the start of the season...did not start the California game and held out of the Oregon State game with a neck strain...saw very limited late-game duty the next week at Oregon due to other player injuries...has four interceptions to lead the team, one each against Utah, Idaho and at ASU, plus the record setter at Hawaii...started the season with 11 tackles against Utah...had a string of five straight games with at least five tackles...earned the following team awards: Idaho/Special Teams Big Play; Idaho/Assassin.
