HIGH SCHOOL: Manual Arts High '85 - Earned three varsity letters under coach Jeff Engleman...two varsity track seasons as a sprinter...JUNIOR year won city 100m title and was fourth at the State meet...SENIOR year selected All-central City 3A halfback and linebacker and named to the All-State teams at same positions.

COLLEGE: Washington State University, 1985-90 - Redshirted FRESHMAN year in football, but top sprinter for track team...as a RS-FRESHMAN football team's second leading rusher despite playing just six games...shoulder injury kept him sidelined in the other games...during RS-SOPHOMORE year led the Cougars and the league in receiving with 59 for 701 yards and three scored and was third in rushing...named to the Pac-10 second team as a running back...as a RS-JUNIOR played in 11 of 12 games and rushed for 1,280 yards to rank seventh nationally, first in the Pac-10 and second on the WSU list...The Sporting News all-America second team and Associated Press honorable mention...second player in conference history to lead the league in receiving one year and rushing the next year...RS-SENIOR year ranked first in the Pac-10 in all-purpose running, 162.7 yards per game, and scoring, 104 points...second in rushing with 1,237 yards, just 32 yards short of leading the league...ranked third on the WSU all-time single season list...selected to play in the Hula Bowl...drafted by Atlanta as the 20th overall pick...CAREER notes - third in WSU rushing with 3,054 yards and fifth in receiving with 120 receptions...on Pac-10 lists, seventh with 4,635 all-purpose yards.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Atlanta Falcons (NFL) - Spent four years with the Falcons, 1990-93...rushed for 1,472 yards in four years and caught 48 passes...scored 12 touchdowns...best season his rookie year when he played in 13 games, rushed for 454 yards and four touchdowns;

Cincinnati Bengals (NFL), 1994 - One year with the Bengals...rushed for 403 yards and caught 34 passes in 14 games;

Seattle Seahawks (NFL), 1995-98 - Finished up his nine-year NFL career with the Seahawks...best year with Hawks 1997 when he gained 418 yards and caught 24 passes...team total 550 yards and caught44 passes in four seasons...NFL totals 578 rushing attempts, 2,625 yards, 126 receptions for 882 yards, 22 total touchdowns rushing and receiving.

COACHING EXPERIENCE: Don Lugo High, 2000-01 - Began career as offensive coordinator at the Chino, Calif., high school.

Diamond Ranch High, 2001-03 - Began as offensive coordinator in 2001, then named the head coach in 2002.

Portland State, 2004-2006 - Started as the running backs coach, then coached wide receivers the final two years...team led the Big Sky in rushing in 2004, 204.4 per game.

Washington State University, 2007-Present - Joined the staff of head coach Bill Doba for the 2007 season, handling running backs...retained by head coach Paul Wulff to coach running backs in 2008.
