JUNIOR (1998-99): Indoor - Top mark of season was fifth-pace finish at Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships at 2.02m/6-7 1/2i (2/20/99, Reno)...Outdoor - Achieved best mark as a collegiate in win at Cougar Invitational - 2.10m/6-10 3/4 (4/24/99, Pullman)...

SOPHOMORE (1997-98): Indoor - Placed 12th at MPSF Championships with high jump of 2.01m/6-7i (2/27/98, Reno)...Outdoor - Top mark of season was 2.05m/6-8 3/4 cleared at McDonald's Outdoor (4/26/98, Moscow) and for second place at the Palouse Team Invitational (5/2/98, Pullman)...finished 11th at Pac-10 Championships with 2.00m/6-6 3/4 (5/24/98, Stanford)...

FRESHMAN (1996-97): Indoor - Cleared collegiate indoor PR of 2.05m/6-8 3/4i at the Vandal Indoor (2/14/97)...Outdoor - Top mark of season was 2.00m/6-6 3/4 for third place finish at Palouse Invitational (5/18/97, Pullman).

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER: Lettered four years as a high jumper at University High in the Spokane Valley for coach Kevin Frandsen...also earned three basketball letters for the Titans and coach Jay a FRESHMAN, high jumped 6-2 and placed sixth in the Greater Spokane League meet...SOPHOMORE season upped-best to 6-7...was the regional champion and finished fifth in the state AAA meet...named Most Improved in both track and basketball...JUNIOR year added three more inches for a 6-10 best height...set regional record and repeated as regional champ...again selected Most Improved in track...during SENIOR season jumped 6-11, won GSL title...won regional title with meet record 6-10...placed third at state meet.

PERSONAL: Born 11/7/77 in Butte, Montana...mother Cheryl is a WSU graduate and now is an educator...father Gale played basketball at Eastern Washington University and now works for the Department of Natural sister, Erin (8/21/75)...uncle James Hoppe was on the WSU track team in the late 60s...was a member of the National Honor Society in high school...majoring in Social Studies at WSU.
