HIGH SCHOOL CAREER: Was a four-year track letterwinner at Bishop Amat High for coach Richard Nila...as a FRESHMAN won the leagues' freshman 100m, 200m and both relays...also ran 400m relay on varsity...SOPHOMORE season placed third in league meet 200m dash...on 400m relay team that won the Arcadia Invite and placed second at the CIF championships...JUNIOR year captained team...took first in the league 200m dash and second in the 400m race...CIF 400m fourth place...as a SENIOR, won the league 200m dash title and placed second in the 400m race...captained team...won 400m races at Amat Relays and Arcadia Invitational...finished second in CIF 400m and third in 200m...placed seventh in the state 400m...best prep times were 20.92 (200m) and 47.6 (400m).

McNair Scholar.
