SOPHOMORE (1997-98): Indoor - Finished indoor season with lifetime best of 5.01m/16-5 1/4i for 14th at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships (2/28/98, Reno)...Outdoor - Placed ninth at the Pacific-10 Championships with a career-best height of 5.05m/16-6 3/4 (5/24/98, Stanford)...

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (1996-97): Indoor - Best mark of 4.60m/15-1i was reached at four different meets...Outdoor - Reached new PR of 4.90m/16-0 3/4 twice at meets in Pullman...

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER: Earned six letters at Bellarmine Prep including four as a pole vaulter for coach Bob McCain and two as a wide receiver and corner back for coach Tom a SOPHOMORE, finished first in the Narrows League pole vault, fifth in the West Central district and 10th in 3A state meet...repeated with league PV title as a JUNIOR...also took West Central district title and placed third in state meet...set school record of 14-feet...SENIOR season three-peated as league champ...finished second in West Central district and seventh in state meet...vaulted to school record 14-6.
