JUNIOR (2012-13) – Appeared in 30 games for the Cougars, including three starts…averaged 16.3 minutes, 3.2 points and 2.1 rebounds…started the season with a career-high 3 assists and a career-high 3 steals at home against Eastern Washington (Nov. 10)…dished out 3 assists again at home against Arkansas-Pine Bluff to match his career-high (Nov. 24)…made his first career 3-pointer, on his way to a career-high 3 made shots from beyond the arc to score a career-high 9 points at home against Washington (Jan. 5)…led team with 5 rebounds against Stanford (Jan. 9)…played a career-high 36 minutes, made a career-high 4 field goals, and collected a career-high 7 rebounds at home against UCLA (March 6)…missed two games with an ankle injury suffered against Gonzaga (Dec. 5).
SOPHOMORE (2011-12)Appeared in 19 games, including one start against Sacramento State (Nov.17)... played a career high of 25 minutes against Sacramento State (Nov. 17)...grabbed 25 total rebounds this season... recorded 17 points during the season for the Cougars.

Earned three letters under head coaches Scot Orness and Steve Henderson at Bainbridge High School...earned all-Metro League honorable mention as a JUNIOR, averaging eight points and five rebounds a a SENIOR averaged 18.9 points, 11.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.5 steals per outing and served as team captain... named Metro League Player of the Year and All-Metro first team...was a McDonald's All-America nominee and earned All-Kitsap County accolades...participated in the Cloud 9 All-Star game.

Born William DiIorio in February of 1992...father William `Bill' Ayears works for The Goodwill Industries and was a member of the track and field team at Washington State... served as team captain in 1988 and holds the third-best long jump mark in WSU history...mother Rosalyn DiIorio is a lawyer and stepfather Paul Triesch is a WSU graduate...brothers Gabriel DiIorio and Charlie DiIorio Triesch and sister Sophia DiIorio Triesch...grandfather George DiIorio played football for Idaho State and uncle Rodney Holland played football at Montana State and later played for the Dallas Cowboys...enjoys camping and music...majoring in social sciences at WSU.
