THIS WEEK: The No. 75 Washington State women's tennis team will face both the Montana Grizzlies and the Lewis-Clark State Warriors Saturday, Feb. 26...Cougars will face the Grizzlies at noon at the Stadium Way Tennis Center weather permitting and then square off against the Warriors at 6 p.m. in Lewiston.

WSU HEAD COACH Lisa Hart ON THIS WEEKEND: "We are thrilled to be playing at home and possibly having an outdoor match in Pullman. We have improved tremendously every match and really look forward to this weekend."

COUGARS CLIMB ALL-TIME LIST: Senior Nora Gaal is now in sixth place on the all-time career singles victories list with 65...fellow senior Chris Martinez shares the eighth spot with Tunde Nagy, who was a Cougar from 1995-98...Martinez and Nagy each have 63 triumphs.

TOUGH COMPETITION: The Cougars have faced seven ranked opponents out of the nine teams they have faced in dual match play.

LAST TIME OUT: The Cougars put down the No. 75 Santa Clara Broncos 4-2 Thursday, Feb. 17...Ekaterina Burduli won her sixth match of the dual season by downing Janalle Kaloi, 6-2, 6-3...Gaal pinned her 10th victory on the season by handling Kim Daniel in two sets, 6-2, 6-2...Orsolya Sallai also captured her 10th win on the season by defeating Kelly Leathers, 6-2, 6-2...Saturday, Feb. 19 the Cougars fell 7-0 to No. 1 Stanford which boasts five ranked singles players and two ranked doubles teams.

UP NEXT: The Cougars will face Southern California, Friday March 11 and UCLA Saturday, March 12...both matches are scheduled to start at noon in Pullman.
