PULLMAN, Wash. - Zorana Roganovic from Novisad, Yugoslavia has signed a National Letter of Intent with the Washington State women's tennis team, head coach Cari Groce announced Friday.

Roganovic, who attended Svetozar Markovic Grammar School, is currently ranked second nationally in the Yugoslavia junior division.

Her tournament titles in 1999 included the Yugoslavia National Tournament, Germany's Winkler Tournament and Bulgaria's Olimpiski Nada.

In addition, Roganovic advanced to the quarterfinals of the internationally prestigious Miami Bowl in 1996.

"We're anticipating Zorana to come in and play very high in the lineup," Groce said. "We're hoping she turns out to be one of those freshman that plays like a junior or senior. She has the experience to be able to do that. Anyone that can advance to the quarterfinals in the Miami Bowl is very talented."
