Three Cougars to Compete in EWU Fall Classic

PULLMAN, Wash. - Three Cougars will participate in the Eastern Washington Fall Classic, which begins Friday in Cheney, Wash.

Junior Ksenia Googe, sophomore Olga Musilovich and freshman Anastasia Romantsova will compete for the Cougars. Last week WSU hosted the 2011 Cougar Classic, capturing three singles titles, including Googe's victory in Flight 3.

In the first round of singles play, Googe will take on Molly Knox of Idaho, Musilovich will take on Kylie Peek of Gonzaga and Romantsova will take on Lindsey Newman of Seattle.

In doubles, Googe/Romantsova receive a bye in the first round and will play the winner of Caras/Dennett of Gonzaga and Newman/Lambert of Seattle.

Play begins at noon Friday and continues through Saturday.
