STANFORD, Calif. -- The Washington State women's golf team ended the Stanford Women's Intercollegiate on a high note by firing a season-best, third round 303. WSU placed 15th in the 18 team field, but beat out nationally ranked Oregon and came within three strokes of two more nationally ranked teams, UCLA and Oregon State.

Junior Jennifer Dodd (Portland, Ore.) and sophomore Tasha Browner (Tarzana, Calif.) both carded third round 74s and finished the tournament tied for 40th at 229. Browner's final day effort was a career-best. Senior Jenny Ballou (Portland, Ore.) had a solid three round total of 232 and placed 53rd.

Tulsa's Stacy Prammanasudh maintained her second round lead to take home the individual title. Prammanasudh avenged her loss to Pepperdine's Tamie Durdin at last week's Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational by firing a three round 210, six-under par. Durdin finished four strokes back at 214. Arizona State's Miriam Nagl, Pepperdine's Jenny Glasgow, and New Mexico's Ryley Webb shot their way into a three-way tie for third with an even 216.

Prammanasudh's play helped Tulsa (879) capture team honors at the par 72 Stanford Golf Course. Pepperdine (882) finished three strokes off the pace. Southwest powers Arizona State (885), New Mexico State (888), and Arizona (890) rounded out the top five.
