PULLMAN, Wash. - The Washington State Cougar football team opened fall camp today with a 9 a.m. practice on Rogers Field. WSU rookies reported to campus Aug. 7, while returning veterans reported Aug. 8. The Cougars open today with a helmets-only practice, which will continue Monday. Tuesday and Wednesday the team will add shoulder pads. The first practice in full pads will take place Thursday, Aug. 13. Practices four (Wednesday, Aug. 12) and five (Thursday, Aug. 13) will be split-squad, with the gray team practicing at 9 a.m., and the crimson team practicing at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, will mark the first of five two-a-days, with the entire team practicing at both 9 a.m., and 2:30 p.m.
