JUNCTION CITY, Ore. - Sophomore standout Amy Eneroth carded the best score of the final round and won in a playoff over San Francisco's Jessica Potter to take 1st place at the Oregon Duck Invitational held at the par-72, 6,096 yard Shadow Hills Country Club, March 27.

The finish marks Eneroth's first tournament win as a Cougar and her sixth top-10 finish of the season. Eneroth and Potter both finished the tournament with scores of 222 (+6), but Eneroth's victory in the playoff round allowed her to finish ahead of the San Francisco golfer.

Also making a top-10 appearance was junior Tracy Broders. With a third round score of 78 Broders finished the tournament with a score of 230 (+14), landing her in a two way tie for 4th. Sophomore Jessica Black garnered her fourth top-25 finish of the 2007 season with a final score of 234 (+18) and a 13th place finish.

Junior Brooke Henderson and freshman Diana Hong both completed the tournament in a five way tie for 29th, ending the third day with identical scores of 241 (+25).

As a team the Cougars finished second, shooting a 304 in the third round to give them a final score of 922. The Cougars finished a mere three strokes behind first place winner University of San Francisco.

The women will be back in action Tuesday, April 3, when they travel to St. George, Utah to compete in the Cougar Classic.
