Junior Marquess Wilson headlines the outside receivers after setting WSU single-season records with 82 catches and 1,388 yards and tying Jason Hill for second with 12 touchdowns. Wilson has received numerous preseason accolades and has responded well to the new coaching staff's requests that he play with more physicality. Opposite Wilson, redshirt sophomore Kristoff Williams (nine catches, two touchdowns) and sophomore Isiah Myers (seven catches) both return after seeing limited action in 2011 but turned in good springs.
Redshirt freshman Dominique Williams will push Wilson and vie for playing time after impressing the new staff during spring drills. Hawaii transfer Drew Loftus arrived in the spring and will provide some depth to one of the Pac-12's most talented receiving corps. Four-star newcomers Gabe Marks and Alex Jackson are both expected to immediately contribute for the Cougars during their freshmen campaigns.
