COUGARS COMPETE AT STANFORD INVITE AND SCC WAR V
Members of the Washington State University track and field teams travel to Stanford and Spokane for competitions this weekend...the 38th Annual Stanford Invitational is a combination of collegiate, middle school and high school competition...at Cobb Track and Angell Field on Stanford campus...Live Results on meet days at http://www.rtspt.com/events/stanford/invite2012/es...Spokane Community College hosts WAR V Northwest Scoring Clash at Spokane Falls CC...pits collegiate competitors from Washington schools versus the "World" - schools from Idaho, Oregon, Montana...results will be posted at www.wsucougars.com when available after the meets.

ABOUT THE COUGAR COACHES
Head coach Rick Sloan is in his 39th season with the Cougar track program; 18th year as a head coach, 17th year as mentor to the combined men's and women's program...Sloan (decathlon/heptathlon) is joined by associate coach Debra Farwell (throws), head coach for cross country Pete Julian (distance), and assistant coaches Mark Macdonald (hurdles/relays), Ellannee Richardson (sprints/relays) and Matt McGee (jumps)...volunteer coaches include Jeshua Anderson, Tim Riley and Wes McCann.
