PULLMAN, Wash. -- The No. 75 Washington State women?s tennis team fell 7-0 to the No. 13 USC Trojans Friday. Washington State moves its record to 5-7, 0-2 Pac-10. The Trojans boasted two ranked singles players and a ranked doubles team to down the Cougars.

The Cougars were swept in doubles, giving the point to USC. In No. 2 doubles, the Cougars tandem of Orsolya Sallai/Chris Martinez were defeated by No. 56 Anca Anastasiu/Lindsey Nelson, 8-4.

In singles the Cougars faired no better. In the No. 1 slot freshman Ekaterina Burduli suffered only her fourth loss on the season by being put down by No. 15 Nicole Leimbach 6-4, 6-1 and in the No. 2 position Orsolya Sallai lost to No. 16 Lindsey Nelson, 6-2, 6-2. All matches were taken in straight sets by the Trojans.

The Cougars will be back in action Saturday as they host the No. 10 UCLA Bruins. Match time is set for noon.
