PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State University women’s basketball team will be hosting Native American Appreciation Night Monday, Dec. 19. against nationally-ranked University of Louisville. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Friel Court at Beasley Coliseum.
Washington State will be hosting a number of Native American groups throughout the day and will give out Native American Appreciation Night t-shirts to the first 200 fans with additional shirts available for 10 dollars each. During the game, WSU will recognize local tribal royalty along with a halftime honor drum performance by Young Grey Horse. Fans will also have an opportunity to meet and get autographs from both the Cougars and the Cardinals following the game.
WSU has distributed flyers in the Moscow-Pullman Daily News during the last month and have also mailed out the flyers that will allow the first 100 people who display the flyer at the Beasley Coliseum ticket office to enter the game free of charge. All additional fans who present the flyer will be able to purchase a ticket for two dollars.
