PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State University and FSN Northwest announced today an agreement has been reached to televise the Cougars' Sept. 29 football game at Arizona, WSU Director of Athletics Jim Sterk announced Monday. Game time for the Arizona contest has been set for 7 p.m., Pacific Time.
The Arizona contest marks the second WSU game this season televised by FSN Northwest, with last Saturday's 45-28 win over Idaho also shown throughout the network's five-state region.
Prior to the season four other Cougar football games had been selected for live national or regional television, including the Cougars' season-opener at Wisconsin, Sept. 1, televised by ABC. The network will also televise this Saturday's Cougar game at No. 1 USC, set for a 5 p.m. telecast. WSU enters that contest with a 2-1 record for the season.
The television schedule also includes two games televised by FSN, the first being WSU's Oct. 27 game with UCLA. Kickoff will be 3:30 p.m. from Martin Stadium. Additionally, FSN will televise WSU's game at California, Nov. 3, with kickoff set for 7 p.m.
Both ABC and FSN can select additional games during the course of the 2007 season, with selections made six or 12 days in advance of the games.
Season tickets are still available for the four remaining Cougar home games, as are single-game tickets. Tickets are available online at www.wsucougars.com or by phone at 1-800-GO-COUGS.
