Hey Coug Fans,
Finally a free moment to update our blog...I hope your holidays were enjoyable and you were able to spend time with your loved ones.
Our first Christmas in Pullman was delightful at the Daugherty household. The light dusting of snow Christmas night certainly gave it a festive glow.
Pac-10 conference play has begun with talent-laden players and marquee coaching. There really is something very special about the opportunities to compete with the best basketball conference on the west coast.
Many thanks to the Coug fans who surprised us on our bay area trip with such warm hospitality at the Oakland airport. We appreciated your coming to our game at Stanford and Cal to cheer us on.
The team continues to improve with strong dedication and solid work ethic. We've seen a good deal of improvement each week and appreciate the effort.
Thanks to the Hope Heart and Sacred Heart hospital in Spokane for sponsoring our first annual "Cougs have Heart" game. What a wonderful turn-out of fans over the holiday break! Thanks to everyone who braved the weather and joined us for our battle with the team from Seattle.
We are headed to the Oregon schools for two games this Thursday and Saturday. I hope you are able to come to the games if you're in the area, or be sure and listen to our internet and radio feed (KQQQ, 1150AM).
We're looking forward to a big week of quality practice and games with our WSU Cougars.
