  • WSU Parking Information

PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State Cougar football fans traveling to games in Pullman this fall will experience changes in traffic patters and parking lot assignments, according to WSU officials.

Included will be changes in post-game traffic flow and a change in some parking lots reserved for WSU Athletic Foundation donors.

During the summer a portion of Stadium Way underwent a renovation, with a traffic divider added between Nevada Street (at the Pullman hospital) and Grimes Way (at French Admin. Building). As a result, post-game traffic leaving the Smith Center Garage and its adjoining surface lot must now turn right onto Stadium Way. Drivers headed south on Stadium Way and wanting to go to Moscow must be in the median lane, while those wishing to drive into downtown Pullman will need to be in the outside lane.

The WSU Athletic Foundation has added some new lots for donor parking and reassigned others. The new lot assignments are:

AA Pass Holders - Fine Arts Garage and Smith Center Exterior Surface Lot
A Pass Holders - Johnson Hall, Wilson Road, Hulbert Hall and Lighty East
B Pass Holders - Grimes Way(Bustad Hall), Beasley East Lot and College Mall
C Pass Holders - Cleveland West and Cleveland Lower
President's Associates, Laureate's and Foundation - Smith Center Garage

Other lots are open to general public, with the Holland Library Garage a paid public lot. General parking maps can be found at the Visitor Center

Public transportation to the WSU game is also provided by Pullman Transit, with the following route adjustments:

The A-Route will begin 2.5 hours prior to kick-off and run continuously throughout the game and continue to run for 1 hour after the end of the game. They will also add an extra bus for the last hour to accommodate the crowds.

The D-Route will begin 2.5 hours prior to kick-off and run continuously throughout the game and continue to run for 1 hour after the end of the game. They will also add an extra bus for the last hour to accommodate the crowds.

The Express Route will stagger start 3 buses. The first bus will begin 2.5 hours prior to kick-off with the other two buses following shortly thereafter. There will be one Express bus running continuously throughout the game. All three Express buses will run for one hour after the game.

Patrons wishing to catch the bus can park around the Visitor Center and the downtown area and conveniently catch the bus at the transfer station right across the street from the Visitor Center. For further information, contact the visitor center at 335-8633.
