PULLMAN, Wash.--The Washington State University tennis team will host its sixth annual free clinic Tuesday Feb. 1, in honor of National Girls and Women in Sports Day.
The team and coaching staff, coming off three wins this weekend over Eastern Washington, Idaho, and Gonzaga encourage females of all ages and skill levels to participate in a fun evening. The clinic will be held at the Simmelink Tennis Courts at Hollingbery Fieldhouse from 6-7 p.m. Raquets and balls will be provided for participants.
"We have great support for our program and this is an event where our players and coaches feel we can give back to the community," said Washington State University Head Coach Lisa Hart. "As a team we look forward to this each year and being role models for women of all ages to be active and get involved is a great feeling."
