Adzasu, Cook and Perkins Invited To WNBA Combine

PULLMAN, Wash. -- Washington State University's Rosetta Adzasu, April Cook and Jazmine Perkins have been invited to the WNBA combine held at NCAA Women's Final Four in Denver this weekend.

Seniors from throughout the country have been invited to the combine to showcase their skills in front of professional scouts and coaches representing numerous WNBA and overseas professional leagues.

Adzasu led the Cougars with 91 assists this season, averaging 2.9 apg in 31 games. The point guard was second on the team with 7.4 ppg in Pac-12 play, scoring in double-figures seven times against conference opponents.

Cook capped her WSU career with six double-figure games in conference play this season including a pair in the Pac-12 Tournament. The Carson, Calif. native finished her career with 1,188 points, eighth most in program history and with 130 made three's, the fifth most by a Cougar.

Perkins put together her most balanced season in her final year as a Coug, leading the team in minutes (26.2 mpg) and rebounding (7.4 rpg) while leading the Pac-12 in steals with 87. The Berkeley, Calif. native finished second on the team at 8.5 ppg and posted team-bests of six double-doubles and 12 double-figure games while playing the nation's No. 19 toughest schedule. Perkins also became the only player in WSU history, men's or women's, to record 1,200 points, 700 rebounds and 250 steals. She is WSU's all-time leader in games played (122), finished her career with 1,288 career points, the seventh most in program history and with 259 career steals, the most of any active player in the Pac-12 Conference.

The WNBA draft is April 16 and training camp officially opens April 29.
