THIS WEEK: Washington State will compete in the UNLV Invitational Feb. 27-29...eight team tournament field includes WSU, Boston College, Fresno State, Kansas, Northern Arizona, Oklahoma State, Tulane and UNLV...Cougars will face Oklahoma State Friday in the first round.

HART ON THIS WEEKEND: "We have been preparing well and we know the hard work will inevitably pay off. We are looking forward to the great competition at the UNLV Tournament and the opportunities that we will face."

UP NEXT: The Cougars will face San Diego State and San Diego in Seattle March 5 and 6, respectively.

LAST TIME OUT: Senior Lorena Arias knocked off Oregon's Dominika Dieskova, 7-6, 6-1 to capture win number 16 on the season, matching her win total from last season...first time team of Zsofia Fodor and Orsolya Sallai captured a doubles win against Dominika Dieskova and Anna Leksinska, 9-7...Fodor went on, to knock off Leksinska in singles, 7-6, 4-6, 1-0.

COUGARS IN THE RANKINGS: The WSU Cougars finished last season at No. 51 in the ITA rankings and currently hold the No. 63 slot...Orsolya Sallai is ranked No. 20 in singles in the Northwest Region...senior Lorena Arias is No. 30 in the Northwest Region...Arias and junior Chris Martinez are ranked No. 9 regionally in doubles.
