SEATTLE, Wash. -- Washington State University sophomore Jeshua Anderson will be one of 10 award winners honored by the Seattle Post-Intelligencer at the 74th Annual Sports Stars of the Year banquet Tuesday, Jan. 20, at The Westin Hotel in Seattle.
During the evening's festivities, the male and female Sports Stars of the Year will be chosen by an audience vote.
Anderson, from Woodland Hills, Calif., won the Pacific-10, NCAA, USA Junior and World Junior intermediate hurdles championships during the spring and summer of 2008. Anderson broke a 40-year old school record with his 400m hurdles time of 48.68 seconds, run at the World Championships in Poland.
Cougar hurdles coach, Mark Macdonald, will also be at the Sports Stars banquet.
