STANFORD, Calif. - The second day efforts from Washington State golfers Anastasia Kostina and Amy Eneroth led the Cougars to a fifth place finish at the Peg Barnard Collegiate, held at the par-71, 5,985 yard Stanford Golf Course, Sunday.

The Cougars were led by Kostina, as she finished the two-day tournament tied for seventh, marking her eighth top 10 finish and 10th top 25 finish of the season. Freshman Amy Eneroth knocked three strokes off her first round score, firing a 73 (+2) during the final round to tie for 10th.

As a team, the Cougars finished the tournament in fifth place after shooting a 303 (+19) during the second round for a combined total of 606 (+38). The Cougs finished ahead of No. 23 Long Beach State, No.31 UC- Irvine, No. San Jose State, and No. 49 Oregon State.

Sophomore Tracy Broders fired a final round score of 75 (+4), to finish the tournament in a tie for 26th, just one shot shy of breaking the top 25. Jessica Black finished the tournament knotted in a tie for 68th, while teammate Haley Parsons knocked 13 strokes off her first round score to finish the two-day tourney tied in a knot for 76th.

The Cougars now prepare for the Pac-10 Championships, April 24-26, hosted by the University of Arizona in Tucson, Ariz.
