WASHINGTON STATE NOTES
-- With his 30th pass attempt of the game (third quarter), Alex Brink passed Jason Gesser on the WSU all-time list for career pass attempts with 1,119...the mark was set on a 14-yard touchdown pass to Brandon Gibson...Brink finished the game with 1,145 attempts for his career, and now holds the top spot for both completions and attempts.
-- Brink's 56 attempts and 35 completions against Arizona rank third on both WSU all-time single-game lists.
-- With 347 passing yards against Arizona, Brink claimed sole possession of second place on WSU's all-time list for both career games with 200+ yards and career games with 300+ yards...Brink now trails only Jason Gesser (27) on the career list for 200+ yard games, and Ryan Leaf (12) on the career list for 300+ yard games.
-- With 127 yards receiving against Arizona, Brandon Gibson recorded the fifth 100-yard game of his career, moving him into a tie for seventh on the WSU all-time list...his 11 receptions were a career high and rank tied for second on the WSU all-time single-game receptions list...Gibson has 80 or more receiving yards in every game this season.
-- WSU had two receivers with double-digit receptions in the same game for the first time in school history (Gibson-11 and Jed Collins-10).
-- Collins' 10 receptions and 89 yards were both career highs...his touchdown reception in the second quarter was the sixth of his career.
-- With a 9-play, 65-yard scoring drive on their opening possession, the Cougars have scored on their opening drive in four of five games this season.
-- With his first quarter touchdown pass to Charles Dillon, Brink has now thrown a touchdown pass in 31 career games...the mark ties Gesser's school record for most games with a touchdown pass.
-- Brink's second quarter touchdown pass to Jed Collins gives the quarterback 19 games with multiple touchdown passes, trailing WSU's all-time leader Gesser (21) by only two games.
-- WSU quarterbacks have thrown touchdown passes in 73 of the last 77 games, including each game this season.
-- WSU has scored in 266 consecutive games, the second-longest active streak in the nation, and 247 consecutive Pacific-10 Conference games, the longest active streak for any league team.
