INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Erin Eldridge, who graduated from Washington State in May, completed her career in the 200-meter breaststroke at the United States Olympic Swimming Trials Sunday.
The Kirkland, Wash., native finished 84th with a time of 2:43.06 in the preliminaries and did not advance to the semifinals.
Eldridge, the first Cougar to be named an NCAA qualifier, Olympic Trial qualifier and All-American, finished tied for 30th in the 100-meter breaststroke last Thursday.
Both the 100-meter and 200-meter breaststroke had over 90 entries.
